I like how you can build it to fit your space. I needed something under my stairs where its crazy messy and holds everything my garage used to, untill i moved to a house without one. Hence the messy MESSY photo. It has managed to tuck under the stairs in a space I couldn't use because of the slanted shape. It holds ALOT of stuff. Carpet cleaners, tools and random stuff i dont need often. I am looking forward to having a she'd build, so I can neatly place boxes/ jars in each cube and have it looking neat and tidy. When that happens I think ill buy another and build it like the picture to sit next to it. It is strong, as when I first built it up (alone) my 4 year old used it as a climbing frame and it didn't budge. It was easy to put together and was delivered really quickly. My husband would like a set to hang on the wall in his cabin to keep his motor bike helmets in too. So I will re order more, if a deal comes up on them. I do feel they should be a little bit cheaper as there isn't much to it, material wise. And since I built it, effort wise too. But overall I'm pleased with how it fits, how you can change the shape, make it the size you need and how you can buy more to attach to it. It is simple but good. It took me maybe 5 minutes to put together so was pretty simple to build. I think a rubber hammer would be handy to make it easier again to build, but I managed by just bashing it with my hands. It's good, easy storage. Nothing flash but it works. I think its worth about £20, no more. I'll keep a eye on it coming up with a discount before I buy more.

These were delivered quickly, in a day, during the self isolation/virus period in UK. They were packaged well. I have got to be honest I really struggled putting these together. I didn't find them easy to click together at all and I find the structure you build heavy and cumbersome to m move around as I tried to push the joining posts together. The instructions were hopeless although you can work it out but because I find it so difficult to click some clear instructions would have been given reassurance. It took me ages and then when built I wanted to put them in an overstair wardrobe in a terrace, and they were heavy. They are substantial and well connected but I wouldn't buy them again. They were an alternative for me to hanging storage in a wardrobe and they were an over kill for that.

I ordered this cube storage unit as I lost my airing cupboard shelves due to a new boiler & heating system being installed, I needed maximum storage where the old immersion heater was without sawing and drilling new shelves or trying to build a tall shelf unit in the cupboard. This unit did the job very well for the price making it good value. The metal cubes are a good strength once fully assembled and secured. The plastic connectors were fairly easy to click into place by hand, but can pop out of place at one end when you’re pushing the other end into place, a little patience is required. If measuring for a tight space you need to know the plastic connectors stick out at the sides by about 1.5cm (each side) making the unit wider/taller than expected. Also, the colour of them is cream while the metal cubes are white. I chose to also use tag ties for extra security during assembly but the unit is sturdy if each piece is fully clicked into place. Once assembled and before use - I’d recommend laying the unit down flat on the floor and push down on the back of each connector (just using your body weight or a rubber mallet if you have one) and listen for that final click for each connector, then turn the unit over and repeat the process. It can be heavy when it’s made so assemble it next to where it is going if possible. I ordered two units of six cubes. One was only assembled as a 4 cube unit due to height restrictions in my cupboard. The great thing with type of storage is that you can make it to fit the space in a cube, oblong or arty shape as required, then unclip it to rearrange the style of you fancy a change. If the plastic connectors came with flat edges for the outside of the unit I would have given it 5 stars, but they are just generic which I presume is to enable several units to connect together.

These cubes are surprisingly very sturdy and better made than I thought they would be....they are pretty deep too, so each cube can hold a decent amount of items. Assembly is smooth too.....take a few minutes to really look at the first picture in instructions, lay them flat on floor and assemble like that...and make sure you *carefully* push in the wires to the connectors so that they are completely in (it kind of 'snaps' into place), just go gently so u don't break the plastic connector (they give 2 extra)...overall a great purchase!
